Hi there crafty peeps! Hope you are enjoying your summer! I find I am super busy in the summer, yet I still have cards I need to create and send. Right now, I need a bunch of Thank you cards.
Have you tried the Spellbinder's cut and emboss folders? Today was my first time playing with them, and they make creating a pretty card so quick and easy! The cut and embossing folder does double duty by embossing and cutting a gorgeous design into your cardstock.
Spellbinders released several new designs recently, and I played with a few of them. You can view them HERE.
This card came together so quickly! I ran a piece of white cardstock and the new Moroccan View cut and emboss folder through my Spellbinders Platinum 6. Then I added color with the Jane Davenport pastels palette and a cosmetic sponge. It's so gorgeous and shimmery!
I have a bunch of sentiment strips made up with my Hot Foil Glimmer machine, and I added one and voila...super quick card!
Here is a second card I made using the same process and a different cut and emboss folder. Now that I've played with these...I need more! So fun and pretty!
Thanks for stopping by today! I've provided links throughout my post for all the things I used. (Affiliate links may be used at no cost to you....thank you for your continued support!)
Have a great day and see you soon!
Peace,
Jacquie

Fun Stampers Journey - Stamp of the Month Kit June 2019
Good morning crafty friends! Hope everyone is enjoying the beginning of summer! Today, I'm sharing a card using the June Fun Stampers Journey stamp of the month kit. I loved the theme for this month...DONUTS! I immediately thought of my Dad, he loves donuts and the newspaper on Sunday mornings. So...I am going to give him this card on Sunday for Father's Day.
This card was a lot of fun to make. I stamped a half dozen donuts on some smooth white cardstock, and then colored them with easy Copic coloring. I used a white pen to add some icing to the chocolate ones. :)
I used the coordinating dies to cut out my donuts and my sentiment "Sprinkled with Love"
I wanted to make the card look like a box of donuts, so I took a piece of kraft colored cardstock, and made it into a card. I used the rectangle from my favorite must have set Hemstitch rectangles from Spellbinders, and cut a window in the card. Then I cut out a rectangle of tissue paper to put my donuts on. (just like they do at the bakery!) I adhered the tissue paper, and then popped the donuts on using some foam tape to give them dimension. I closed my "donut box" with a little adhesive, put the sentiment on and then mounted the whole thing onto another A2 sized card.
Instant, calorie free, fun donuts! I love it!

Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil Kit for June 2019
Good morning friends! Today I'm bringing you a fun floral card. I used this month's Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil kit or this month.
This month the Hot foil kit is FLOWERS! There’s are so many possibilities with this kit...and it includes the matching outline dies.
For this Birthday card, I used three colors of foil. The pink foil is included with the kit, and I used gold and green foil from my stash.
You can buy hot glimmer foil in a ton of pretty colors and patterns...if you want to see what is all available, check them out HERE.
I also colored my flowers with something new to me. I recently got the Jane Davenport pastels...they are so easy to blend. I love the softness of the only card, and they are a nice change from blending inks.

New Artomology from Jane Davenport
Hi there crafty friends!
Today I have something a bit different for you. Recently Spellbinders asked me to play with
some Glimmer Plates from the NEW Artomology collection from Jane Davenport.
You can see the entire collection HERE.
This collection is geared towards the Mixed Media artist,
but is so versatile, you can play with it on cards, scrapbooking, whatever.
Its so fun and playful, I really went outside my comfort zone with this.
I was delighted to see that there are Hot Glimmer Foil
plates (oh, how I love the foil!) in this collection.
I also took the opportunity to play with some of the fantastic
coloring mediums from Jane’s Making Faces collection. (you can see them all HERE)
For this card, I used the beautiful Aura Glimmer Foil on the
Masquerade Hot foil plate. The plate
comes with a coordinating die and makes it so easy to cut out your foiled
piece.
I also used the Making Faces Palette Pastel Set from Jane in
two ways. I pulled out the swatch card
from the palette and colored her using the pastels. I added the mask, and some additional jewels
to dress up my girl.
This whole collection is so beautiful and unique.
If you are interested in any of the items I've shown you today, you can see them linked below. (Affiliate links may be used at no charge to you. Thank you so much for your support!)
